    Tigonis Red Oxide Primer is oil modified alkyd-based primer that can be used as an undercoat for ferrous metal substrate, which offers good corrosion resistance and assures strong adhesion of the final coat. It can be applied by brushing or spraying and offers good opacity, coverage flow and leveling.

    USP Most economic with highest coverage, easy to use primer best for mild steel. It is free from heavy metals like lead, mercury and chromium.It is suitable for priming ferrous metal substrates.

    Ensure that the surface is free from dust, dirt, loose particles and moisture. One or two coats of primer can be used, depending on requirement. For best result,it is advisable to give 8-10 hrs drying time before application of subsequent coats. Do not over­ thin.Stir well before use.

    Ensure surfaces are sound, dry and free from grease, wax and oil. Use a suitable degreaser to remove oil and grease on the surface if necessary. Sand and Remove all loose or defective paint. For iron and steel,remove all loose scale and rust by wire/ sand brushing. For new galvanized metal apply after etching.
