  1. General Details

    TIGOCEM WATERPROOF CEMENT PAINT is a Premium White Cement based Cement Paint, specially designed for better paintbrush ability, easy mixing and application, longer pot life and extra coverage.   2. SURFACE PREPARATION

    Ensure surface is dry and free from old paint, dirt, grease, loose particles, algae & fungi. Rub the surface with 180 grade Emery/Sandpaper and wipe clean. Dilute Primer with approximately 15-20% clean water to get application consistency. Stir the mixture well to avoid lumps. Now apply the first coat and allow it to dry for a minimum of 4-5 hours. Now apply the second coat and rub the surface with 320 grade Emery/Sandpaper.

    MIXING

    To one volume of freshwater in a clean container add equal volume of Tigonis waterproof cement paint (1:1) Stir well. No further dilution is required and Tigocem is ready for application.

  3. PAINT APPLICATION

    SURFACE PREPARATION & PRE-WETTING: Scrub and clean the surface thoroughly. This is important for proper adhesion of the cement paint onto the surface. Pre-wet the surface with clean water & wait for 30 minutes.
    PREPARATION OF MIXED PAINT FOR APPLICATION: Add one part of Tigocem with one part of clean water & mixed it continuously until a creamy consistency is obtained. It is important the same dilution is done each time in order to get a uniform finish & shade. Also, only sufficient paint should be prepared at a time for consumption within 1 hour otherwise the paint might be set before application.
    APPLICATION OF PAINTS: Application can be done with a coarse distemper brush, working well into the textured surface. For a normal surface, two coats of paint will give satisfactory results.

  4. PRECAUTIONS

    ► Sprinkle clean & freshwater onto the painted surface once or twice a day depending on weather conditions. The process should be continued for at least two days following the application of the final coat. This is essential for the proper curing of the paint.
    ► Do not use saline water for spray.
    ► Avoid paint application under strong, direct sun as this may create a problem such as fast drying, brush marks & even patchy surface.
    ► Do not paint when it is raining.

  5. HANDLING & STORAGE

    Keep sacks airtight during and storage to avoid loss of material. Store Tigonis cement paint (Tigocem)in a cool dry place and also protect from extreme climatic conditions during storage, in transit and at site.
