    Tigonis Tile Bonder is an economical on-site mix additive for improving the strength and workability of cement, for fixing of tiles. Tigonis Tile Bonder exhibits very high water retention and thus reduces the absorption of water in to porous substrates. Hence provides workability, sufficient sag resistance as well as appropriate setting time. The adjustability is good even at low dosages and high ambient temperatures. It makes cement self-cured.

  2. Description
    AREA OF APPLICATION

    Tigonis Tile Bonder with cement slurry is used for fixing tiles on conventional method / leveling bed application. For fixing tiles on wall, Tigonis Tile Bonder is to be mixed with cement and / or sand and can be
    applied by notch trowel.

  3. METHOD OF APPLICATION

    Surface : The surface should be clean and free from dirt, oil or grease before  application of conventional cement method or leveling bed.
    Joints Preparation : Expansion joints coinciding with joints in the substrate  should be incorporated at the design stage with spacing at  5 mtrs maximum and it is not to be covered with tiles.
    Mixing : Tigonis Tile Bonder to be mixed with cement & sand to  fix the tiles

    (A) Cement + Tigonis Tilebonder.

    Cement: 50 Kg • Tigonis Tile Bonder: 300 g • Water: 15 Ltrs.

    a)     Take 10 ltrs of water in a clean and dry vessel. Slowly, mix 50 Kg Cement and 300g of Tigonos Tile bonder under stirring to obtain a uniform lump free consistency. Finally, add 5 Ltrs. of Water to get soft and smooth pastes. “Water dosage can be decreased/increased depending upon cement and sand available at site to achieve the desired consistency for application”For hand-mixing, the total quantity of the mixture should be reduced to enough to ensure a soft and smooth, lump-free paste.
    b)     Mix the quantity, which can be used within 30 minutes.

    When using with sand, take 300 gm Tile bond only for 25 kg cement and desire quantity of sand
